Newborn Essentials is designed to build on what you learned in our labour, birth, and delivery-focused Childbirth 101 class, but it can also be taken on its own—perfect for anyone wanting focused, personalized support for baby’s first days.

Learn what’s normal when it comes to newborn appearance and behavior (think peeling skin, funny breathing, and baby reflexes). We’ll help you know what to expect and when to worry (hint: most of the time, you don’t need to). -
Diapering + Hygiene Basics
From cord care to bath time to diaper changes that don’t end in chaos—we’ve got the tips and tricks that make baby care feel way less intimidating. -
Soothing + Sleep
Understand what calms a fussy baby, how to encourage safe sleep, and why newborns don’t follow schedules (yet!). -
Baby’s First Tests
What are they doing to my baby after birth? We’ll demystify newborn screening tests, vitamin K, eye ointment, hearing checks, and more—so you’re not caught off guard. -
