A gentle check-in focused entirely on you—your recovery, emotions, and questions—led by an experienced Maternity Nurse who understands what the early postpartum period really feels like.

Let’s be honest—after birth, the world tends to shift its gaze straight to the baby. But you just did something extraordinary. You deserve care, attention, and space to say, “Actually… I’m not fine,” and be met with understanding—not judgment. This visit is all about you. Led by an experienced Maternity Nurse, our Well Mama Visit is a one-on-one postpartum check-in designed to nurture your recovery, hold space for your emotions, and remind you that you’re not supposed to have it all figured out. Whether you're feeling great or completely overwhelmed (or both), this is your moment to feel seen, heard, and supported.
 

What We’ll Cover:

  • Let’s Talk About You
    We’ll check in on your physical healing, sleep (or lack of it), emotional well-being, and how you’re really doing—no need to put on a brave face.

  • Body + Recovery Basics
    From bleeding and stitches to chest discomfort and pelvic floor questions, we’ll gently guide you through what’s normal, what’s not, and when to follow up.

  • The Feels Are Real
    Tearful, irritable, anxious, calm, joyful—it’s all normal. We’ll explore the emotional rollercoaster of postpartum life and connect you with further support if needed.

  • Feeding, Your Way
    Whether you’re nursing, pumping, bottle feeding, or combo feeding, we’ll check in on how it’s going—and help troubleshoot any challenges you’re facing.

  • Real Talk About This New Role
    You didn’t get a manual, but we’ll help you feel more grounded in your new identity as a parent. Think of this as a pause, a reset, and a little boost for your confidence.

  • You’re Doing Better Than You Think
    Sometimes, all you need is reassurance and someone to remind you that you’re already showing up in all the right ways. We’ve got you.

Created For: Just you—or bring baby or a support person—this visit is whatever you need it to be.
Where:

  • In your home (Brandon, Fredericton, Oromocto)

  • In our cozy Brandon office

  • Live Online – join from anywhere
     

INVESMENT:

  • $145 per visit

All classes are led by Registered Nurses so your course may be covered by your insurance or HSA/FSA. Click here for more info on insurance.
