Sometimes babies experience tension or restrictions in their bodies that can affect feeding, comfort, sleep, or movement. Our Infant Craniosacral Therapy sessions provide a gentle, individualized approach to help release these patterns and support your baby's natural development. These sessions are provided by both an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Craniosacral Therapy practitioner who is uniquely positioned to assess not only how your baby is feeding, but also how movement, tension, and the birth experience may be influencing their overall function. This whole-baby approach allows us to support families with care that goes beyond feeding alone.
What We’ll Cover (Depending on Your BABY'S Needs):
-
A Gentle Whole-Body Assessment
We'll begin by reviewing your pregnancy, birth, feeding journey and your baby's overall health before assessing posture, movement, tension patterns and areas that may benefit from treatment. -
Gentle Craniosacral Therapy
Using an extremely light touch, we'll work to gently release areas of tension that may be contributing to feeding challenges, discomfort, head preference or difficulty settling. -
Feeding & Functional Support
If feeding is a concern, we'll observe breastfeeding or bottle feeding as needed and discuss positioning, oral function, and practical strategies to support more comfortable, efficient feeding. -
Parent Education
Throughout the session, we'll explain what we're observing, answer
your questions, and provide simple techniques and recommendations
you can continue at home. -
Individualized Care Plan
Every baby is unique. You'll leave with personalized recommendations
and, if needed, suggestions for follow-up care or referrals to other
trusted healthcare professionals.
