How do I know if I need feeding support?

If you’re feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or just want some extra guidance, you’re in the right place. Whether it’s preparing before baby arrives, troubleshooting latch issues, navigating pumping or bottle feeding, or simply needing reassurance—you don’t have to wait for a "problem" to seek support. We’re here for all feeding journeys, big and small.

When should I book my first appointment?

You can book anytime! Some parents meet with us during pregnancy to create a feeding plan, while others reach out in the early days after baby’s birth or later on when feeding challenges arise. Whenever you’re ready, we’re ready too.

Do you offer both in-person and virtual appointments?

Yes! We offer flexible options to meet your needs. In-person appointments are available at our studio or in the comfort of your own home. Virtual consultations are available for families who prefer or require remote support.

What types of feeding do you support?

All feeding journeys are welcome here. We support breastfeeding, chestfeeding, exclusive pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, formula feeding, and everything in between. Our approach is non-judgmental and centered around your goals and your baby's needs.

What happens during a feeding consultation?

Every consultation is tailored to you. We’ll start with a detailed conversation about your goals, concerns, and feeding history. Depending on your needs, we may observe a feed, assess latch and positioning, discuss milk supply, troubleshoot challenges, create a personalized plan, and make sure you leave feeling more confident and supported.

Can my partner or support person join the appointment?

Absolutely! Feeding is a team effort, and we encourage partners, spouses, or other support people to be part of the conversation if you'd like.

What should I bring to my appointment?

If you're joining us in person, bring anything you usually use during a feed (nursing pillow, bottles, pump, etc.). If you’re coming with your baby, bring your usual diaper bag supplies. For virtual appointments, we’ll send a simple checklist to help you set up your space ahead of time.

For prenatal classes, we will provide you with everything you need but please feel free to bring water or snacks with you if you want.  We also recommend dressing in comfortable clothes and in layers incase the room fluctuates in temperature

Do you provide support with pumping and bottle feeding?

Yes! We offer guidance on pumping, introducing a bottle, building a stash, maintaining supply, and returning to work. Whether you’re exclusively pumping, mixed feeding, or just getting started, we can help.

DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL OPTIONS?

Yes, we sure do! All of our offerings are available virtually through Google Meet—a secure, user-friendly platform. You’ll receive personalized, evidence-based support from a Registered Nurse or Lactation Consultant, all from the comfort of your home.
